Lorrie has been coordinating and speaking on public relations, marketing and consumer awareness topics since 1980. She has offered programs to board members of large corporations, entrepreneurs, business and not-for-profit associations, and adult education programs.

An adjunct faculty member at the College of DuPage for 22 years, Lorrie has also worked with Harper Junior College, Oakton Community College, Elgin Community College, Roosevelt University. She has also worked with the adult education departments of High School Districts 211 and 214 and Mundelein High School.

As an independent consultant, Lorrie has assisted small business owners, downsized individuals, and entrepreneurs from all walks of life and age groups (16 to 88) in achieving their marketing and publicity goals without spending a fortune.

She has been a contributing writer and columnist for a number of different publications since 1983.

From April 1995 till June 1997, she was creator, co-host and producer of a weekly consumer awareness radio show on WFXW-AM 1480, in Geneva IL, and WBIG AM 1280, in Aurora IL. Lorrie had also been actively involved in producing and hosting a number of shows on TCI public access cable TV for nine years. In 192, she won a Casey Cable TV award for a program she produced and hosted.

Lorrie has been a welcomed guest on radio talk shows (WKSI, KTFM, WDIF, KRTS, CFPL, CKTB, CJAD, CKLW, KVOX, WPHM, WREL, KDND, KSGO, KCNN, Q102, WGEE, KARN, KPAY,WJOB, KROC, KJAN, KGGO, KIXL, WOND, WYUR, KHOb, WDBQ, WYEN, WFXW, WIND--Clark Weber Show, etc...) across the United States and Canada. She has beenwritten up in a wide variety of publications (The Florist's Review, The Crafts Report, Image Matters, Market It Write, the Sun Times, the Daily Herald, the Suburban tribune, The Kane County Chronicle, etc...)
