Writer's WorkshopThe Writer’s Workshop of Bloomingdale is an informal networking group of talented aspiring and published writers who live and/or work in the metropolitan Chicago area.
In a community abounding with talent, the Writer’s Workshop is a catalyst for the expression of creativity through writing for both beginners and published authors.
Workshop members make steady progress in their individual areas of expertise as a result of the nurturing atmosphere provided by the Bloomingdale Public Library and The Friends of the Library.
The Writer’s Workshop, founded in September 1991, thrives in this environment where members find fellowship, support and encouragement while sharing a common bond: the written word.
Prospective members are encouraged to attend two meetings before deciding if they wish to become regular members. There is no need to ask. If interested, simply attend one, or both, of the meetings offered each month.
