What is art? Talk with 10 different people and you'll get 10 different answers. It begins with a person who has a vision, and uses his hands, head and heart to try to create that vision in a form that others can understand and appreciate. Art is a form of communication that engages both the creater and the person who experiences the finished work.

The facets of the communication are many and varied, including subconscious perceptions, use of tools and application of a myriad of skills and materials, application of form, color, dissonance and harmony and more.

This section is dedicated to those who interested in visual arts. The work might include paintings, cartoons, sculpture, graphic artists, textiles and hand crafts. The work might be classified as fine art but will also include arts that are enjoyed every day - arts like interior design, textile and needlecraft, woodworking and more.
