A Lesson in Magnetics...

When you were a child did you play with magnets? Weren't they fun? You could use a magnet and suck up all sorts of nails and metallic objects. You also learned that a magnet doesn't have any influence over plastic, glass, leaves, paper and such.

If you had two magnets, it was even better! Using one magnet, you could chase the other one all over the place. But if you turned your magnet half-way around you'd establish a powerful magnetic attraction between them that pulled both together.

You also discovered that, no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't make the same end of your magnet push and pull at the same time.

What are you trying to do in your life? Attract a mate? Make money? Fill a void?

If you're doing what you set out to do - congratulations! You're using your magnetic energy effectively.

But, if you can't seem to get it together, you might want to play with magnets for awhile. It won't take long before you catch on.

You'll learn to address problems by beginning with the answers to two basic questions:

1. Am I dealing with a magnetic type of relationship or goal? Or, am I trying to establish a relationship with something that I can have no influence over?

2. If my goal is responsive to outside efforts, can I do anything to affect its behavioral response?

Once you decide what exactly you want to attract -- and that there can be a magnetic relationship between you and your goal -- observe what you're doing right now.

Remember, if you're chasing a goal that is incapable of response to outside influences, you're wasting your time. But if you're chasing a goal that keeps skittering away, just out of reach...Stop! Turn your thoughts and energy half-way around and start attracting it.
