Here's a quick question for you ... It's not a trick question. And there's no right or wrong answers.
Situation: Everywhere we turn, SUCCESS is being sold to us as a commodity: "Buy this <you-fill-in-the-blank> and your success is guaranteed"
My question: Have you bought anything of late that has enabled you to say "I've now achieved success"?
I read recently a delightful book that described SUCCESS as a three-legged stool (You know, of course, that if any one of the legs of a three-legged stool is missing there's no integrity in the structure; it can't stand).
The legs of that SUCCESS stool are: PERSONAL GROWTH - EXCELLENCE - HAPPINESS.
Success -- like Life -- is an ongoing journey, not a destiny.
Every day of our life we have everything we need for success. Every moment of every day in life is a learning experience. If we are consistently and continually learning, developing and growing and if we do the best we can with what we have to work with at that moment then happiness follows.
Success is being the best you can be - right now.
I wish you SUCCESS!
